Government has notified 149 services and time-limits within which these services are to be made available to the citizens, thereby empowering them and
making service delivery responsive. More than 1.75 Crore service reqrests have been delivered so far as per Right to Service timelines. As part of National
e-Governance program E-District-a complete work folw of back-end of 47 services has been implemented in two pilot districts of kapurthala and Shaheed
Bhagat Singh Nagar after Process Re-engineering At present all 47 services have been made on line .In the coming year,"e-district" project will be replicated
in remaining 20 districts in a phased manner. I would like to emphasize that ," the principle ingredient of our government's vision of Government is peace
and communal harmony with development" The last seven years" have been Punjab emerge as the vanguard of the nation for the establishment of a society
in which all citizens live in peace and work together for the betterment of the State and the country" While development is a result of the far-sighted
policies, perseverance and hard work of our government ,peace and communal harmony in "the State is a tribute to the commitment of the people" and the
government a like to make Punjab a land of dreams which our great Gurus, saints,and seers had about the future of our great state and country .I am sure
that," discussions and deliberations during this session would be conducted in a most constructive and dignified manner,respecting,one another's views
